Malgré un problème de santé, juste après l’enregistrement de cet album, John Mayall 85 ans continue de sortir des disques, et de donner des concerts, une cinquantaine de dates en Europe en mars/avril suivie d’une tournée américaine cet été.
Et pour son nouvel album, il a invité quelques-uns de ses guitaristes préférés.
Liste surprenante où figure Todd Rundgren, Steve Van Zandt l’homme du E Street Band ou Alex Lifeson qui officie chez Rush. Pas vraiment des guitaristes de blues, mais quand même la présence de Joe Bonamassa et de Larry McCray est plus « logique ».
