Ouahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, PG, you're good , man!.

Now, Freddie's woman she's done something, she had never done before,
She was in the bed with another man, made Freddie's pallet on the floor,
He got it mad, he got it bad, Oh with his gun in his hand.
Freddie's woman 'd soon come in, wouldnt' fell down on her knees[/quote]
On the heel climbed, how pretty, stand my life, if you please !
I know you're mad , you got it bad, Oh with his gun in your hand.
Freddy meet the policeman with his big gun in his hand
Freddy I heard you don't killed your woman, he said
Yes don't look in the ???
he made me mad, I got it bad, Oh with my gun in my hand.
Freddy say look at here judge, judge want me to get mad
If you'd come home and find your woman, with another man in your bed,
You've got it mad, you've got it bad, Oh with your gun in your hand.
Freddy says now mama, mama you have to let me go
'cause the woman mistreated me, and I had her shoot her stone (???)
You got it mad, I got it bad, Oh with my gun
Old Freddy say he'd lay down, side not to pay no mind (???)
but it was four days Freddy was woked, urged some strange
He got it mad, he got it bad, Oh with his gun in his hand.
Freddy's Papa told Freddy, son hear what you've done wrong,
When you thought that woman won't treat you right
Son, why not let her and leave her alone, (ouf !)
You've got it mad, you've got it bad, Oh with your gun in your hand.
Freddy look a here papa, papa wouldn't you got it mad
If you come home and find mama, with another man in your bed
You got it mad, you got it bad, Oh with your gun in your hand.

Grande grande Miss Flo !!
Quant à why not let her and live her alone....Bravo!

3è strophe:
...Yes, don't look in the foreign (main??? le conduit du fusil?)
Pis aussi: ...if the judge gives you for years...
I'll tell you what I'm "going to" (= gonna): manque le verbe = do

4è strophe:
...Freddie says: "Look at here judge! Judge, wouldn't you got it mad
If you'd comin...
5è strophe:
Suggestion:
...'cause the woman mistreated me, and I had to shoulder(au lieu de "shoot her") so
(et je devrais endosser, supporter, ça ) ???
6è strophe:
...but it was four days Freddie was woken, urged some strain (sous tension), au lieu de "strange")

Now, Freddie's woman she's done something, she had never done before,
She was in the bed with another man, made Freddie's pallet on the floor,
He got it mad, he got it bad, Oh with his gun in his hand.
Freddie's woman 'd soon come in, wouldnt' fell down on her knees

Freddie I heard you don't killed your woman, he said
Yes don't look in the foreign main
It made me mad, I got it bad, Oh with my gun in my hand.
Freddy say look at here judge, judge want wouldn't you got it mad
If you'd comin home and find your woman, with another man in your bed,
You've got it mad, you've got it bad, Oh with your gun in your hand.

Bon.

FREDDIE
1) Now Freddie's woman she done something
She had never done before
She was in the bed with another man
Made Freddie's pallet on the floor
He got mad—he got bad
Come with his gun in his hand.
2) Freddie's woman saw him coming
Went and fell down on her knees
I can hear her cryin' now: "Freddie
Spare my life if you please
I know you're mad — you got bad
And with a gun in your hand!'
3) Freddie meets the policeman
With his big gun in his hand
"Fred, I heard you done killed your woman."
He said: "Yes, I'm looking for that man
He made me mad — I got bad
With my gun in my hand"
4) Freddie said: "Look-a-here ]udge
Judge wouldn't you have got mad
You'd a-come home and found your woman
With another man in your bed
You'd got mad — You'd got bad
Took your gun in your hand."
5 ) Freddie say: "Now Mama
Mama you have to let me go
Cause the woman's mistreated me
And I had to shoot her so
You'd got mad — I got bad
With my gun in my hand."
6) Now Freddie say he laid down
Tried not to pay no mind
But a while befo' day
Freddie was woke — heard some stranger
He got mad — he got bad
He put his gun in his hand.
7) "Freddie!" Papa told Freddie
"Son, here where you done wrong
When you saw that that woman wasn't treatin' you
Son, why didn't you let her alone?
You got mad — you got bad
With your gun in your hand."
Freddie said: "Look-a-here Papa
Papa, wouldn't you got mad
You'da come home and found Mama
With another man in your bed
You'd got mad — you'd got bad
With your gun in your hand!'
9) Freddie's Papa said: "Yes,
Son, I'm gonna tell you what I'm gonna do
If the judge give you forty years
I'll have em pardon you
For being bad — mad
With your gun."

"Fred, I heard you done killed your woman."
He said: "Yes, I'm looking for that man
He made me mad — I got bad
With my gun in my hand"
4) Freddie said: "Look-a-here ]udge
Judge wouldn't you have got mad
You'd a-come home and found your woman
With another man in your bed
You'd got mad — You'd got bad
Took your gun in your hand."
5 ) Freddie say: "Now Mama
Mama you have to let me go
Cause the woman's mistreated me
And I had to shoot her so
You'd got mad — I got bad
With my gun in my hand."
6) Now Freddie say he laid down
Tried not to pay no mind
But a while befo' day
Freddie was woke — heard some stranger
He got mad — he got bad
He put his gun in his hand.
7) "Freddie!" Papa told Freddie
"Son, here where you done wrong
When you saw that that woman wasn't treatin' you
Son, why didn't you let her alone?
You got mad — you got bad
With your gun in your hand."
Freddie said: "Look-a-here Papa
Papa, wouldn't you got mad
You'da come home and found Mama
With another man in your bed
You'd got mad — you'd got bad
With your gun in your hand!'
9) Freddie's Papa said: "Yes,
Son, I'm gonna tell you what I'm gonna do
If the judge give you forty years
I'll have em pardon you
For being bad — mad
With your gun."

Re: Freddie de Mance Lipscomb
'Thank you very much Red Lester. Well, most of the work was already done but there were few mistakes and missin' things. In particular, that Freddie seems to have really killed his woman "with his gun". That will surely give our Flovia a little more Blues. Freddie was not a funny guy!

A moins d'adapter.

Voili, mon T'J'
