BLACK AND TAN RECORDS is an independent record label concentrating on blues / roots music. The label was founded in 1997 and is based in Europe (Netherlands). So far I have released 30 CDs and one DVD, mainly on USA artists.

I am passionate about music and for me blues is a part of the rich folk music tradition. Story telling music that was created by artists who wrote and sang their own songs. So at Black and Tan you will find artists that can really sing, write good songs and have a story to tell. The voice and the story are the roots of this vital music.

Over the last year the traditional distribution system for CD’s is falling apart rapidly. Specialized shops close and distributors go out of business. So our web shop

Recently a few hundred new customers found their way to the Black and Tan web shop and got their music direct form the source.

Records are shipped within 24 hours and shipping costs are included in the list prices. We accept MASTER, VISA and PAYPAL and recently we lowered the prices for the older releases. Our prices are listed in USD and EURO.

Donc on va faire une exception et je transfère en "blues etc" où ce sera plus sa place

Au cours des dernières années, le système traditionnel de distribution s'est rapidement désagrégé. Les magasins spécialisés ont fermé leurs portes et les distributeurs se sont retirés.

Il y a peu, quelques centaines de nouveaux clients ont passé commande au magasin en ligne Black and Tan et ont acheté leur musique directement à la source.
